James Sanders, 66, a resident of Benton, TN passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence. He loved to fish and enjoyed woodworking. He was a jokester and LOVED playing tricks on people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Medlin Sanders.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sanders; daughters, Michelle Kelly (Ronnie Clark) of Benton, TN, Amy and Dawn Bryce of Etowah, TN; grandchildren, Micheala Clark, Ronald Clark, Mackenzie Hansen and Brycen Hansen; siblings, Tom Sanders and Carol (Frank) Bowman of Florida; sister-in-law; Susie Paine; niece, Meg Wade and nephew, Luke Wade of Maryville, TN; special friends, Susan Fisher, Stacy Wilson, Vicki Frye, Wade and Yvonne Handcock and "Cotton" Presswood. Several nieces, nephews and extended family members also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Joel Jenkins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at the church prior to the service.
