Jason (Jaybo) Andrew Weeks, 21, a resident of Benton, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Weeks, Jr.; grandmother, Betty Lowe Garrison and great-grandfather, Charlie Lowe.

Survivors include mother, Lesia Darlene Weeks of Benton; step-father, Stanley Cronan of Benton; brother and spouse: Johnny and Becky Weeks of Benton; grandmother, Francis Beasley and husband, Mike Beasley of Alabama; grandfather and grandmother, Letcher and Doris Goforth, and grandfather Kenneth Walker; nieces: Mollie Weeks, Myla Weeks, Madison Rose and Macy Rose all of Benton; cousins: Jonah Byers, Corkey Goforth Woody, Faye Goforth Callaway and Barry Evans; special aunt, Angie Higdon Epperson; uncles: Ronnie Garrison and wife, Robin Garrison, Ricky Garrison and Robert Walker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Barry Massengill and Reverend Richard Mason officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Greasy Creek Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the funeral home prior to the service.
