Jeffrey Mark "Jeff" Ward, 57, of Benton, peacefully departed this life on February 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on August 23, 1964, in Cleveland, Tennessee to W. Ronnie Ward and the late Mavis A. Johnson Ward. Throughout life, Jeff grew to be loved by each person that was blessed to have known him. He was a graduate of Polk County High School, Class of 1982. A member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a true friend, Jeff had the blessings of life to lighten each room or barn that he entered. In his early years of life, Jeff met the love of his life, Michelle Rogers Ward, and together welcomed while loving their two beloved sons, Dylan and Dustin. A hard-working man, Jeff founded Wards Tree Service and through the years developed and acquired through hard work and determination, a five-star superior service. In most recent years, you could find Jeff, along with his family and friends, enjoying the trails of Windrock Park or cruising along the shores of Lake Ocoee. He had a love for life and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved wife of nearly twenty-eight years, Michelle Rogers Ward; loving sons, Dylan (Brittany) Ward and Dustin Ward; cherished siblings, Jill (Buddy) Swafford and Kylie Ward; mother and father-in-law, Wilson (Judy) Rogers; brother and sisters in law, Brian Rogers, Russell (Teresa) Rogers, and Leslie (Chris) Peak. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Oak Grove Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
