Jeffery Allen Hicks, age 54, of Benton, passed away on Friday June 30, 2017 at Bradley Healthcare. A native and lifelong resident of Polk County, he was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed all sports and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Arlie Hicks; mother, Judy Lillard; and brother, Allen Hicks.

Jeff is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Krissie Hicks of Benton; granddaughter, Audrey Hicks of Benton; brother, Rodney Hicks of Benton; sisters, Denise McCormick of Cleveland and Jackie Linder and husband Mitch of Benton; and a brother not by birth but by love, David Jordan and his wife Ramona of Benton. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family and numerous friends also survive.

A Celebration of Jeffs Life and Home going will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 from the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.
