Jeffrey Todd Jones, 56, a resident of Benton, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2021, at his residence.

He was a wrapper operator in the carpet mill for many years. He enjoyed trucks and cars especially the older models. Jeffrey had a great hand in helping raise his nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with his friends and family and will be missed by all.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Jones, Jr. and Birdie Sue Wallace Jones; brother, Duncan Jones; niece, Tiffany Jones.

Survivors include his siblings, Diane (Roy) Keeler, Tim Jones and Jessie (Becky) Jones, III; nieces and nephews, Kristy Painter, April (Josh) Pilcher, Timothy Jones, Eric (Courtney) Jones, Berry Jones, Jessica (Jake) Brown and Christopher (Molly) Jones.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Tellico Plains, TN. with his family serving as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
