Jerry David Messer, 59, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Messer and Ina Lou Rogers Messer and brother, Don Messer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Messer; sister, Phyllis Sue Stone; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Josh Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
