Jimmy Steve Bishop, 59, a resident of Benton, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burch and Arlennie Elizabeth Bishop and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Cloer Bishop of Benton; two daughters: Jennifer Durkin and Sandra Timerding both of Cinnicinati, Ohio; four sisters; one brother; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Cotton Port Church of God. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
