Johnny Andrew Wilcox, 40, a life long resident of Benton, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the family residence. He was a member of Benton Station Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Smith Wilcox of Benton; two children: Brooke Wilcox and Chaise Wilcox both of Benton; father, Dennis Wilcox; mother, Brenda Price Wilcox; sister, Denise Fields; three brothers, Marty Wilcox, Brent Wilcox and Justin Wilcox; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Benton Station Baptist Church with Reverend Joel Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Station Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. James Price, David Rymer, Rodney Rymer, Chris Smith, Alen Passmore, Marty Wilcox, Brent Wilcox, Justin Wilcox and Brian Fields will serve as pallbearers.
