Joseph T. Lewis, 62, a resident of Benton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2019 at a Cleveland healthcare facility.

Mr. Lewis was a member of Family Worship Center in Cleveland, TN. He loved playing and singing gospel music; he even had the pleasure of singing at a Jimmy Swaggart camp meeting in 2002. He was a redneck and enjoyed motorcycles. Above all, he was a wonderful husband and loving father.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Lewis; and brother-in-law; Dale Redden.

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Lewis; beloved children, Steven Lowe of Greasy Creek, Angie Derreberry of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Melissa Walkins of Japlin, Missouri; loving parents, Will Jack Lewis and Neoka King Lewis; and sister, Marie Redden. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
