Joyce Bryson, 70, of Benton, went to her heavenly reward on Friday September 21, 2012 at her home. She was a member of Old Ocoee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Eula Bishop; brothers, Jack, J.W., Paul and James Bishop; sisters, Bonnie Bishop and Betty Jo Burke. She was dearly loved and will be missed by those she has left behind. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jimmy Bryson of Benton; daughter, Kim Brackett and husband, Ralph of Benton; grandson, Dylan Brackett, who was her pride and joy; brother, Dan Bishop and wife, Patricia of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Joan Bush and husband, Greg of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Tracy Alexander and husband, Rock of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Lynn Bryson of Ringgold, GA and brother-in-law, Julian Burke of Cleveland, several nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday September 23, 2012 at 4:00 P.M in Benton Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Harold Firestone officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends Sunday September23, 2012 from 2 till 4 at Higgins Funeral Home.
