Obituary

Justin S. Bryson, 41, of Benton, passed away on March 15, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 19, 1983, in Cleveland, Tennessee to Joseph Samuel Bryson and Bobbie Lynn Stiles Jackson.

Justin's greatest love was his faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. He immersed himself in the beauty of the outdoors, finding serenity in nature through activities such as fishing, hiking, kayaking, and camping. His adventurous spirit and love for exploration reflected the depth of his character.

As an exceptional educator, Justin shared his knowledge and passion for learning with those around him. His creative mind enabled him to solve problems with a unique perspective, and he inspired countless individuals along his journey. A talented musician, Justin expressed his love for the arts, touching the hearts of many with his melodies.

Justin was also an accomplished martial artist, achieving the esteemed rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt and receiving The Okinawan Karate-Do Union Outstanding Mudansha Award. His dedication and discipline in martial arts were a testament to his strong will and commitment.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Albert and Lola Naomi Stewart Bryson, Herbert Bill and Lecia Stiles Colley, and Bobby Stiles; aunts, Chloe Ratliff and Vicki Rymer.

Left to cherish the many memories include his parents, Joseph "Joe" Bryson and Bobbie Lynn Stiles Jackson; brother, Kevin Bryson; sister, Kellie (Mike) Sakkinen; nephew, Chase (Chandra) Self; great-nephews, Eason Self, and Dax Self; great-niece, Brynlee Self; aunts and uncles, David Bryson, Paul (Glynnda) Bryson, Irene (Ellis) Haney, Molly Lewis, Joan (Ronnie) Cass, William Clint Stiles, Candy (Alex) Satterfield, and Samuel Stiles; lifelong friend & godbrother, Andy McWilliams; special friends, Zayna Bradley and Robyn Lynn Jones. Numerous extended family members and a host of friends also survive.

A Remembrance of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Lost Creek House of Prayer, 301 Lost Creek Rd. Reliance, TN 37369, with Rev. Glen Stiles and Rev. Samuel Stiles officiating. Interment will follow at Hedden Cemetery, with Andy Rymer, Andy McWilliams, Chad Rhyne, Billy Bryson, Justin Hawkins, and David Green serving as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service at the church.
