Leon Couch, 83, of Benton, TN passed away at his residence on Monday, April 3, 2017. He was a good husband and father and enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandkids. He was a true outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Celia Clayton Couch; grandson, Jesse Couch; sister, Kay Rumpel; brother, Clyde Couch.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy Couch; children, Jeffrey Couch, Vicki (Jeff) Stanfield, Tami (Terry) Presswood, Scott (Cindy) Couch; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Alene Johnson, Murphy, NC, Alice A. Thompson, Woodriver, IL, Janice Penny Keith, Las Vegas, NV; brother, Kenneth Vance Couch, Youngstown, Arizona. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with the Reverend Guinn Green and Reverend Richard Mason officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 in Benton Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.
