Leroy W. Essex, Jr., 55, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on April 6, 2025, at his home.

He was born on May 7, 1969, in Chattanooga, TN to the late Leroy W. Essex, Sr., and Linda C. Reed Essex.

Leroy was an avid fan of the Tennessee Vols and collector of antique bottles.  He was a happy soul who had an infectious laugh, loved to play the drums, tube on the Hiwassee, listen to music from the 60's and 70's and give tight hugs. A devoted friend whose smile and caring nature will be missed by all!

Left to cherish the many memories include his sister, Monica L Cannon, two nephews, one niece and a grandnephew.

There will be no services at this time.
