Linda Faye Jenkins Cochran, 68, of Benton Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on March 30, 1958, in Copperhill, TN, to the late Mike and Mini Jenkins.

She was a faithful and dedicated employee at Shaw’s and owned and operated a lawn mower shop. A few of her fondest memories included gardening, identifying plants, and raising chickens. She also enjoyed canning and food preservation and sitting on her front porch.

In addition to her parents, Mike and Minnie Jenkins, she was preceded in death by her husband, S. David Chochran; son, Daniel Cochran.

Left to cherish the many memories include her loving daughter, Lisa Cochran; granddaughters, Amber (Cody) Brown, Katheran Forgey, Tabitha (Keith) White, and Christina (Gavin) Woodall; great grandchildren, Bradley Brown, Asher Brown, Kai Osborn, Isaiah Winter, Natalie Winter, Reanna Winter, Serenity White, Destiny White, Georgia Cooley, Zofia, and Chris; sisters, Billy Sue Sullivan, Betty Kersey, and Judy Frazier. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Mason officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Jenkins Family Cemetery, with Cody Brown, Keith White, Gary Taylor, Isaiah Winter, Michael Cochran, Marty Cochran, Gavin Woodall and Joe Taylor serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
