Linda Kay Ray Wooten, 53, a resident of Benton, passed away Friday, August 15, 2008 at the family residence. She was of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Ray and Aliene Ware Ray and son, Gary Lee Wooten.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Wooten of Benton; son, Jeffery Ray of Morgan County; daughters: Sherry Moses of Benton, Christy Revelle and husband, Jimmy of Delano; 5 grandchildren; sister, Judy A. Clark and husband, Carlos of Cleveland; mother-in-law, Jessie Wooten of Benton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Tony Duggan officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday in Mountain View Cemetery in Benton.

Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
