Lisa Moses, 57, of Athens, departed this life peacefully on March 29, 2026, at home with her family at her side.
She was born on December 20, 1968, in Etowah, Tennessee to late June Sampson Jr., and Gena Triplett Sampson. Throughout life, she grew to have tremendous faith in Jesus and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. She was a registered nurse for many years and loved her family dearly. She will be missed by those who knew her.
Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved husband, John L. Moses; two cherished children, Jacob Moses and Sarah (Chance) Cooper; one grandson who she adored, Forrest Cooper; siblings, Audrey (Bo) Hodge, Mike (Elizabeth) Sampson, and Donna (Greg) Evans.
A private family graveside committal service will be held at Benton Memorial Gardens.
Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, at Higgins Funeral Home.
