Lois Dona Black, age 77, a resident of Reliance, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the family residence. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a former nurse assistant with Bradley County Nursing Home. Mrs. Black was the daughter of the late Lou and Carol Lavashvervon Troutner and was also preceded in death by her two sons, Steve Hurd and Mike Hurd.

She is survived by her children: Kathy and Loyd Wolf of Wamsutton, WY, Terry Hurd of Landers, CA, Robyn Little of Landers, CA, John Littrell of Orlando, FL, Ruth Simone of Reliance, Teck Sergeant William Black and Stacie of Reliance; daughter-in-law, Linda Hurd; 29 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private memorial service will be conducted.
