Lois Isabel Rhodes Lois Isabel Rhodes died at her residence Saturday, May 26, 2012, after suffering from a long term illness. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James Rhodes; her son, Charles Rhodes; a grandson, Thadius Lyons; parents, John Felton and Luda Whittemore; and six brothers and two sisters. Her survivors include her sons: Glenn and wife Rena of Benton, TN, James and wife Susan of Cleveland, TN, and Raymond and wife Jessie of Crossville, TN; daughters:Ocie Hicks of Benton, TN, and Anita Pike and husband Clayton of Delano, TN; brothers: Edward Whittemore of Ellijay, GA and Johnny Whittemore of Ringgold, GA; sisters: Velma Alton of Ringgold, GA and Betty Nichols of Tunnell Hill, GA; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great children and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to make mention of a family dear to her heart, Brian, Cynthia, Haley and Devon Painter of Cleveland TN, and a special thanks to Jerry Lowery and the Drug Store Team for their years of service and kindness toward her.
