Lois Ruth Morgan Ross a resident of Benton, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at the family residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Benton. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ross; parents, Andrew J. Morgan and Nora Bridel Morgan; sisters: Ethelene Morgan Estep and Bonnie Morgan Butler; brothers: Robert Morgan, Roy Morgan, Lloyd Morgan and Willard Morgan. Survivors include her children: Robert and Shirley Ross of Benton, Ronald and Kathleen Ross of Ridgecrest, CA and Russell and Sharon Ross of Old Fort; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Jean Morgan Jamar of Wilmer, TX and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Monday, May 24, 2010 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Robbie Speights officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in Benton Memorial Garden with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
