IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lois C.
Stephenson
October 25, 1934 – December 25, 2025
Lois C. Stephenson, age 91, of Ocoee, Tennessee, passed away December 25, 2025. She has been living with her youngest daughter, Jenny Cross, with family support for her the last few months. She was constantly surrounded by family and all those that love her. She walked daily with the Lord, trusting Him in all things and sharing His love through her words and actions. She went to spend Christmas with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was born October 25, 1934 in Servilla, TN to the late Jeannette Mae Stephens.
She was a beautiful devoted loving wife of 72 years to William "Beecher" Stephenson. She was also a loving mother and grandmother who faithfully prayed for all her family and expressed the importance of knowing Jesus. She was a wonderful cook whose kitchen was always a place of comfort, laughter, and countless cherished memories, where no one ever left hungry, and many were sent home with food prepared just for them. She also found peace in working the garden, nurturing what God had given her and taking joy in the harvest, through her gardening, canning, and preserving food. She expressed her love through preparing large wonderful meals. She took great pride in her family. Her kindness, patience, caring heart, and gentle guidance will live on through the generations she helped shape.
She was also a gifted seamstress who created beautiful purses, quilts, and dresses, each piece carefully made with patience and care. She was known by people from several states for her quilting and purses. Her hands were a blessing to many, crafting items that were both practical and filled with love.
Above all, she was a loving individual who always put others first. She was known for always doing for others — quietly, faithfully, and without expectation of recognition. Her kindness was not loud, but it was constant. Her presence made people feel cared for, safe, and valued. She reflected the love of Christ in everything she did. Her legacy of faith, generosity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed but we are rejoicing in knowing she is now resting in the presence of her Savior.
Left to cherish the many memories include her husband, William "Beecher", loving children, Bill Stephenson (Gail), Randall Stephenson (Kathy), Gwen Beavers (Steve), Jennifer Cross (Larry) and Dwight Stephenson; grandchildren Jeremy Blackwell (Jennifer), Brittnee Stephenson (Sean Carter), Steven Cross (Leslie), Jason Blackwell (Amy), Shasta Bain (Jimmy), Desiree Blankenship (Jacob), River Stephenson and Kaitlin Stephenson; she had 20 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her family, she is survived by her dear friend Linda McKenna who was her good friend and sewing buddy.
Her family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ocoee, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 30, 2025, with Reverend Jimmy Parm and Reverend Vernon Webb officiating.
