Wilma Lucille Stinnett Shipman, 80, a resident of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in a local hospital. Her family was her life. She loved to cook for them, especially desserts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Henry and Stella Mae Cavett Stinnett; brothers, Marvin Stinnett and Jerry Stinnett.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Rev. W. L. Shipman; sons, Mark (Sarah) Shipman and Nathan (Stacy) Shipman; grandchildren, Aaron (Jackie) Shipman, Grace Shipman, Tiffany (Chris) Harris, Rodney Burris; great grandchildren, Madelyn Harris, Gracie Harris, Katelynn Harris and Brilee Harris; sister, Leota (Billy) Rice of Cleveland; brothers, Paul Stinnett of Cleveland; Bill (Drucilla) Stinnett and A.J.(Shirlyn) Stinnett both of Benton; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 At Zion Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Hazlewood and Reverend Jimmy Cheatham officiating.Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Benton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the church.
