Lula Gaynell Pritchard Reynolds, 79, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. She was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Alice Henson Taylor; husbands, Ralph Pritchard and Tommy Reynolds; great grandchild, Porsha Ellison; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, David Pritchard, Linda Cross and Janice Finley and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Tammy Blankenship and husband, Kenneth, Brian Ellison and wife, Maria, Donna Stewart and husband, Brian and Christy Swafford and husband, Victor; great grandchildren, Lindsay Pack, Cheyenne Ayers, Taylor Ayers, Charlie Blankenship, Bryce Stewart, Sidney Ellison and Brian Ellison, Jr.; brother, John Taylor; sister, Pearl Bishop; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Lee Ingram officiating. Interment will be 1:00 on Saturday in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
