Luzella "Lucy" Stinnett, 64, a resident of Delano, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Stinnett was a member at Welcome Valley Baptist Church. She worked at People Helping People. Lucy loved caring for her beloved pets and loved spending time with her family. She had a big heart for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. and Mildred Ardenia Stinnett; siblings, Ruth Powers, Carl Stinnett and Alvin Stinnett.

Survivors include the love of her life, Teofilo Joe Rodriguez; loving children, Crystal (Jeremiah) Shelton, Will (Jackie Davidson) Dixson, Jeremy (Suzanne) Dixson, Chris (Johanna) Dixson, Anthony Jarrell, and Brianna (Jason) Maldonado; several beloved grandchildren including the 4 that Joe and her were raising, Chloe Cowart, Cooper Cowart, Anthony Keith, Marianna Jarrell; siblings, Jerry Stinnett, Guinn (Brenda) Stinnett, Ray Stinnett, and Edith (Willard) Jones; sisters-in-law, Linda Stinnett, and Maria Swafford; several nieces, nephews, and in-laws also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Haulk officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
