Margaret Stanley Edwards, 76, a resident of Ocoee, passed away late Friday, April 10, 2009, in a Cleveland Hospital. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Stanley and Mary Margaret Reed Stanley, son, Dean Edwards, and brother, Alfred Stanley Jr. She is survived by her children: Sharon Owens and husband Robert of Ocoee, Gina DeWulf of Orlando, FL, Thomas Edwards and wife Mary of Brunswick, MO, Lucille Schutz of Portland, TN and Mark Edwards of Orlando, FL; two brothers: George Stanley and wife Helen of Fayetteville, NC, and William Stanley and wife Hwawon of Sugarland, TX; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Bishop Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
