Mary V. "Midge" Cheek, 71, a lifetime resident of Benton, TN passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. She loved horses and had an extensive collection of horse pictures, feeding and watching hummingbirds and going fishing with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cheek; parents Cecil and Lena Bates Rogers.

She is survived by her three sons; Troy, Tracy and Tony Cheek; grandsons, Austin and Eddie Cheek; step-grandson, Steven (Tiffany) Truelove; step-great-grandchildren, Tacy and Daisy Truelove. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Zion Baptist Church in Benton, TN. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN.
