Mary Evans, 69, of Benton, TN passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She loved to fish and warm weather.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Irene Wilson; brothers, Gene Wilson, Clearance Wilson, Fred Wilson, Joe Wilson and Leslie Wilson; sister, Ruth Mantooth.

She is survived by her husband Earnest Evans; daughters, Tonya (Jeff) Pennington of Cleveland, TN Tammy (Andy) Haulk, and Jennifer Shelton all of Benton, TN; granddaughter, Brooke (Ethan) Boyd of Benton, TN; sisters, Naomi Mantooth of Old Fort, TN and Martha Brown of Delano, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Chad Maxwell and Reverend Mark Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Delano Cemetery, Delano, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are Rick Mantooth, Ethan Boyd, Jeffery Evans, James Brown, Harold Allen and Mike Pike.
