Michael Lynn Cross, 57, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

He was born on May 29, 1965, in Benton, Tennessee to the late J.M. and JoAnne Williams Cross.

Throughout life, Michael was of the Baptist faith and had a passion for serving others. He always made sure to go out of his way to help a friend in need. The love for his family and friends was strong and he will be deeply missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.M. Cross, and JoAnne Williams Cross; brother, Randy Lee Cross; grandparents, Joe, and Julie Williams.

Left to cherish the many memories include his siblings, Anita Thomas, Juanita Myers, and William "Boots" Cross; niece, Kandi Burnette whom he dearly loved. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held later.
