Michael Edwin Dunn, 55, a resident of Old Fort, TN passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church, a former choir director and sang in gospel groups. He retired from M&M Mars and was a master woodworker.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Artie Louise Sharp Dunn; six grandchildren; 4 great grandsons; parents, Edwin Hill and Virginia Lee Gaston Dunn; sister, Michelle (Allen) Fugate of Knoxville, TN; step-daughters, Kimberly (Roy) Dixon of Old Fort, TN and Angela (Jason) Higgins of Cartersville, GA. Several extended family members also survive.

The family expresses a special "THANK YOU" to dedicated friends, Polk County EMS and First Responders during his illness.

A Celebration of Life will be at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Mitchell Gaston officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home prior to the service.
