Michael Key, 58, of Benton, TN passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at his residence. He was technically savvy, a big TN Vol fan but his first love was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Mozelle Burris Key.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Penny Taylor Key; children, Angela Key, Justin Key; sister, Phyllis (Claude) Bradford; brother, Jerry (Jean) Key; mother-in-law and husband, Jeanette (Charles) Yates; sister-in-law and husband, Pam (Ricky) Bell; brother-in-law and wife, Randall (Tammy) Taylor. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Guinn Merrell officiating. Interment will follow in Campground Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home prior to the service.
