Nathan Patrick "Pat" Johnson, 32, of Rising Fawn, GA, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Johnson; and son, Tommy Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Celisse Farmer Johnson of Rising Fawn, GA; mother, Kathlena Hickey Key of Benton; children, Jocie Johnson and Alex Johnson; sister, Kim Dover and husband, Jason of Benton; brothers, Guy Johnson and wife, Toye of Old Fort, Joe Johnson of Benton, and Charles Johnson and wife, Gail of Cleveland; aunt, Gianetta Cline and husband, Terry of Benton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton with Reverend Dallas Howard and Reverend Joe Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Station Baptist Church Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home.
