Peggy A. Hedden Presswood, 81, of Benton, TN passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She loved her family, square dancing, going to the Grand Ole Opry and listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Millie Dalton Hedden; son-in-law, Ronnie Guinn; siblings, Doug Hedden, Edith Newton, Ruth Hedden, Evelyn Mason.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Presswood of Benton, TN; children, Robert (Erika Tellez) Presswood, III of Cleveland, TN, Loretta (Ricky) Rummel and Rachel (Kenny) Scroggins both of Benton, TN; grandchildren, Allie (Taylor) Williams, Courtney Presswood, April Danielle (Michael) Williams, Andrew Guinn, Katie Tellez; great grandchild, Rhett Williams; siblings, Lecia Colley, Dean (Betty) Hedden, Joe (Sybill) Hedden. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with Reverend Cecil Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Hedden Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home.
