Peggy Ann Swanson, 81, of Benton, went home to be with Jesus on July 17, 2022.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Gorley; stepfather, Percy Gorley; father, Thomas Rose; brother, Roland Rose; ex-husband and father of her five children, Grover Swanson.

Left to cherish the many memories are her children, Jeff (Lisa) Swanson, Shelly (James) Thomas, Jerry Dale (Angela Clark) Swanson, Eleesia Beth Swanson and Robert Cody Swanson; Grandchildren Dustin (Lindsey) Swanson, Caitlin (Cory) Hysinger, Candace (Kenneth) Allen, Jagar Thomas, Zachary Swanson, David (Jade) Clark, Gavin Swanson, Amber Smith, Chad (Niki) Strain, Tiffany Strain, Jasper Swanson; brother, Carl (Nancy) Rose several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and one great-great-grandson.

Peggy was a loving mother who chose to stay home to raise her children and later worked in several convenience stores in the Polk County area and will be missed by all who knew her.

At Peggys request, there will be no services or visitation. The family cherishes your prayers during this difficult time and rejoices that she is now in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
