Ralph L. Milen, 80, of Benton, TN passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 in a local hospital. He owned Milen Trucking Co., Inc. and drove for 40 plus years. He was witty and everyone enjoyed his humor. He loved his dogs, Brody and Miss Kitty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ada Dixon Milen; brothers, Danny and Dal Milen; sister, Lillian Noel.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Faye Beard Milen; daughters, Linda (David) Fletcher of Old Fort, Kelly Free and Cathy (Batesy) Bates all of Benton; grandchildren, Missy Bowman, Jessica Free, Justin "Jug" Free, John Theros, Zack Fletcher, Zeb Fletcher, Loretta Fletcher; brothers, David (Daphne) Milen of Benton and Bobby Milen of Ocoee; sisters-in-law, Peggy Milen of Charlotte, NC and Hattie Milen of Old Fort; brother-in-law, Charles Noel of Porter, TX. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.
