Reba Jean Higdon Stone, 80, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014. She was a member of Old Ocoee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Easter Lousie Yates Higdon; husband Luther Lee Stone; son David W. Stone; daughter Linda Marlene Stone Sanford; granddaughter Sheena Nicole Stone. She is survived by her children: John Lee Stone of Florida, Sheree Stone of Benton, Bobby (Tina) Stone of Benton, Mary (Larry) Adams of Tennga Ga., Susan (Gary) Dale of Delano, and Tammy (Wayne) Jones of Old Fort; 14 grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren; brother: Dee (Francis) Higdon of Farner, sister: Mary (Don) Ingram of Etowah and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend David Qualls officiating. Interment will follow at Old Salem Church Cemetery. The family will receive from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
