IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca "Becky"
J. Campbell
September 20, 1932 – November 4, 2024
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer."
~ Psalm 19:14
The lovely, graceful, and strong Rebecca "Becky" J. Campbell, 92, of the Benton community, has left this world. Beckys spirit left peacefully for that other shore on Monday morning, November 4th, 2024. She departed beautifully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her children.
Becky was born in Centerville, Tennessee to the late Roy Thomas and Bertie Lee Morrison McClanahan. Becky lived (and left) her life here with a tangible faith in Christ her Redeemer, unshakable courage and strength, and an unconditional love for her family and others that radiated from her being. Her most cherished roles in this life were being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. All she did, she did with great grace, commitment, and perseverance, leaving a beautiful legacy in her wake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles Campbell, and an infant son, Brian Thomas Campbell.
Left to cherish her many memories are her beloved children, Bruce Campbell, Mark (Elaine) Campbell, Cathy (Buck) Ledford; grandchildren, Lori (Tommy) Keeble, Charlie (Beverly) Campbell, Chloe (Jeff) Hanson, and Willie (Allison) Ledford; great-grandchildren, Kennedy (Cade), Kingston, Ellie, Asher, Joy, Clement, Waylon, Ruthie & Micah.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Benton, with Pastor Robbie Speights officiating.
Friends and family will gather from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends blessing someone in your local community who is in need.
Prayers and encouragements for the family may be shared at www.HigginsFuneral.com.
Arrangements are entrusted to Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue."
