Rebecca Cummings Wilcox, 57, a resident of Benton, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at her home. She was a member of Meadow Fork Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Cummings; daughter, Brandi Cummings; son, Nathaniel Cummings; parents, Lucille and Milburn Plumley; and sister, Ernestine Cummings. She is survived by her husband, Danny Wilcox of Benton; son, J.B. Cummings and wife, Trisha; grandchildren: Davion Cummings and Trista Cummings of Madisonville; brother, Steve Plumley and wife, Lynette; sisters: Brenda McDade and Flo Lowe; sisters-in-law: Betty Wilcox and Linda Wilcox; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 6, 2014 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Brown and Reverend Ray Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in Cookson Creek Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the funeral home.
