Obituary

Richard Tyler White, 50, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on April 26, 2026, due to a boating accident on the Ocoee River.

He was born on March 4, 1976, in East Ridge, Tennessee to Kay Adams and the late Robert White.

Richard was an outgoing, spontaneous and enthusiastic rafter. He died doing what he loved most. Richard was known by his nickname, “Dickie Blanco” by his friends. He was also known for his rock collecting, building guitars and his love for nature. He will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his father, Robert White, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.J. White and Vesta White Crisp, John and Christine Adams; brother, Rodney Adams; uncle, David Adams; aunt, Rolando Coblentz; cousin, Jason Cain.

Left to cherish the many memories include his loving mother, Kay Adams; aunts and uncles, Earlene and Jon Lummus, Kathy and David Godfrey, Kathy Adams, Beverly Rogers, and Nancy Gates.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery.
