Rosa Lee Hixon, 81, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her residence. She was of Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Nance and Minnie Carver Todd and son, Thomas Sullivan. She is survived by her husband, John M. Hixon of Cleveland; children, Doug and Lisa Sullivan of Cleveland, Robert and Susan Sullivan of Cleveland, Brenda Moore of Cleveland, Carroll Sullivan of Crandall, GA and Dan and Rosemary Malone of Crandall, GA; seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Quinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the funeral home.
