Sandra Kay Fox, age 58, of the Wetmore Community passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012. She was a member of Wetmore Baptist Church. She was the youngest child of the late Bowden and Thelma (Norwood) Fox and was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Fox and a sister, Betty Culpepper. Survivors include one sister, Mae Powell and husband, David of Wetmore; four brothers: Bobby Fox, Jimmy Fox, Glenn Fox and wife, Laverne, all of Wetmore; and Herman Fox and wife, Betty of Etowah. The family will receive friends Monday, May 14, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Nick Herron, Reverend Paul Fox and Reverend Jasper Woody officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Dylan Rollins, Klay Higdon, Marty Goodman, Chuck Burgess, Bobby Fox and David Powell will serve as pallbearers. Higgins Funeral Home of Benton is in charge of the arrangements.
