Sara Jean Howard Jenkins, 36, of Benton, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 after complications from a lengthy illness. She loved watching her boys play football, music and singing. Her hobby was photography.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Luther and Reba Stone and Isaac and Norma Jean Howard as well as numerous family members.

She is survived by her sons, Kameron, Jaden, Logan and Kaleb Jenkins all of Benton, TN; parents, Sheree Stone and Ronnie Howard of Benton, TN; sister, Whitney Howard of Benton, TN; special niece, Brae Lee Stickney whom she loved being her Aunt RaRa; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Other survivors include Steve and Kim Jenkins and family of Cleveland, TN; special Papaw, Jim Farr of Cleveland, TN.

The family expresses a special THANK YOU to Dr. Maxwell and his surgical staff as well as nursing staff who became special friends and took good care of her.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with the Reverend David Qualls officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2017 at Old Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8 :00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Michael Sanford, Zachary Dale, Mark Baxter, Nick Jones, Dominic Stickney and Jordan DeFriece. Honorary pallbearers are Wyatt Dale, John Jones, Rodney Stone, Scott Stone, Brian Stone, Seth Stone, Aaron Howard and Andy Howard.
