Scotty Lewis Morgan, 35, of Benton, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 9, 1990, in Cleveland, to Pete and Velar Rymer Morgan.

He attended Mountain View Baptist Church where he was an honorary member.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Patsy Morgan, and A.C. and Shirley Rymer.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved parents, Pete and Velar Morgan; loving sister, Kayla Morgan; many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home of Benton, with Pastor Ray Ingram officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Morgan Cemetery with Randy Hicks, Ray Merrell, John Qualls, Dale Goforth, Joe Bain, and David Farris serving as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
