Shaynena "Shay" Whiddon Hull, 37, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on September 18, 2022, surrounded by those she loved most.

Shay was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on February 13, 1985, to Shayne Whiddon and Patricia Phillips Moses. Her mom was her best friend. When she was nine years old, she moved to North Carolina, where she developed a love for the mountains and hiking. She especially loved South Mountain.

Throughout life Shay enjoyed cooking, music, and attending festivals. She had a big heart and always put others before herself. She had a special affection for animals, but loved her dog, Briar, the most.

Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved husband, Kurt Hull; loving children, Kameron Wright, and Kennedi Hull; mother and stepfather, Patricia Phillips Moses and Bobby Moses; brother, Harley Whiddon; grandparents, Eddie, and Ruth Couch; and many other family members and friends.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
