Sherry Ann McDonald, 69, a resident of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on November 8, 2025.
She was born on March 18, 1956, in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late Anna Lou Moore and Billy McCurry.
Sherry was a wonderful person. She was always one to stand her ground. Sherry was a delight to be around and meant everything to her husband, Allen. She worked at the Pilot in Cleveland, Tennessee and one of her prize possessions was her red Pontiac Firebird.
In addition to her parents, Anna Lou Moore and Billy McCurry, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Burns; grandparents, Cora Lillian Suits and Ollie James Moore.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Allen McDonald; daughter, Yvonne (Casey) Pitts; two sons; granddaughter, Dedra Hagler; nieces and nephews, Dewana Burn, Jason McMahan, Kiesha Sheltor, Cody Vintage and Brook McMahan; sisters, Cathy K. Patton, and Wanda Goode; brother, Tommy (Patti) McMahan.
A graveside committal service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, on November 13, 2025, at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery with Ed Swallows officiating.
Family and friends will assemble at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, at Higgins Funeral Home, departing in procession at 12:40 p.m. to make the journey to the cemetery.
