Troy Alexander Meachen, 51, of Benton, gained his wings peacefully, at his home, doing what he loved on October 8, 2023.

He was born on December 24, 1971, in Sarasota, Florida.

Troy was an extraordinary husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was always doing for others and enjoyed exploring the roads. Troy was always ready to lend a helping hand when someone was in need. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Patricia Curvin Meachen; sister, Tracy Meachen.

Left to cherish the many memories include his loving wife, of 27 years, Susan Meachen; adored children, Troy (Katie) Meachen, Jr., and Nasus (Evan) Reinehr; grandchildren, Calliope Reinehr, and Troy Meachen III;father, Donald Meachen II; siblings, Tammy Meachen, Todd Meachen, Tina (Mike) Iken, Trevor (Linda) Meachen, Tanya (Todd) Pile and their three children, Tanner (Sally) Meachen and their two sons, Tiffany (Steve) Kincannon and their four children, Tatum Swallows and her two children, and Tish Romo and her two children.

A Remembrance of Life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., on Friday, October 13, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Benton.

Family and friends will gather from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
