Troye Lee Moore Linginfelter passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Fairpark Nursing Home in Maryville, TN at the age of 96. She was a graduate of Polk County High School and Maryville College, and a long-time teacher in both Alcoa City and Polk County School systems. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Alcoa, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Linginfelter; parents Walter and Willie Faye Moore; brother, Glenn Moore.

She is survived by her son, Steve Linginfelter and wife Brenda; grandsons, Bryan and fiance' Geana, Scott and wife Christa, Will and wife Melanie; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home in Benton, TN with Reverend Kinzel Hooker officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Clarks Grove Cemetery, Maryville, TN.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the funeral home prior to the service.
