Tyler L. Burchfiel, 33, of Gastonia, NC and formerly of Bradley County, departed this life on September 16, 2026.

He was born on April 16, 1993, in East Ridge, Tennessee, to Gene Burchfiel and the late Karen Randolph Burchfiel.

Throughout life, Tyler was a skilled mechanic that loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. A few of his fondest memories included football Saturday’s and watching the Vols. He was an avid Tennessee Vol and enjoyed helping his dad with their logging business. He also loved whitewater kayaking, snowboarding with his family, and hunting. Tyler was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, Karen Randolph Burchfiel, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Authur and Nora Randolph, and William Burchfiel; one uncle, Wayne Croley; and one cousin, Rebecca Randolph.

Left to cherish the many memories include his father, Gene Burchfiel; one sister, Gina (Cody) Day; and one niece, Caylee Day. Several extended family members also survive.

There will be no services at this time.
