Viola Eaton Perian, 69, of Benton, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at her residence. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lena Hunt Eaton. She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Perian; daughters, Una Mae Rogers, Debra Ann Simmonds and Janice Marie Perian; son, Wilbert Wilson Perian, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Robert Flake, Sabrina Free, David Perian, Bryan Parrish, Ashley Williams and Gabriel Green; 10 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sister, Katherine Ellis; brothers, Henry Eaton, Jimmy Eaton and Johnny Eaton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Tony Duggan officiating. Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery with Billy Williams, Randy Simmonds, Bryan Parrish, Jamie Green, Robert Flake and Donnie Simmonds serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
