William David Clayton, 76, of Benton, TN, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Zion Baptist Church. He lived a life of service to others.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Clayton; mother, Anzlee Qualls Rogers; father, Johnny Clayton; step-father, Lee Dunn; brother, Harold Clayton; sister-in-law, Beulah Clayton

Survivors include his granddaughter, Ashleigh Parisien; great grandchild, Luna Parisien; stepdaughter, Kim Smith; brother, Junior Clayton; sisters, Faye Hooker, Mary Green, Myrtle Lawson (Charles), Carolyn Waters (Dennis); mother-in-law, Irene Brown; sisters-in-law, Terri Bates, Mary Helen Clayton; brothers-in-law, Jackie Bates, Darrell Bates (Kathy), Jody Baxter. Several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

A graveside service and interment will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Benton, TN with Reverend Mike Hazlewood officiating.
