William "Marty" Lillard, 61, of Delano, passed away on March 9, 2025.

He was born on June 5, 1963,in Athens, Tennessee, to the late Billy and Wanda Jenkins Lillard.

Throughout life, Marty was a prestigious brother, father and friend. He was a man of many trades, in his life he was a welder, machinist, car salesman and telecom worker. He loved making jokes and making sure there was always a smile on everyone's face. He loved to fish and spend time outside as much as he possibly could. In hopes he will be remembered for these many things.

In addition to his parents, Billy and Wanda Jenkins Lillard, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynette "Noopy" Wilson Lillard; paternal grandparents, Henderson and Inez Green Lillard; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Ruby Herron Jenkins.

Left to cherish the many memories include, his daughter, Terra (Josh) Caughron; sons, Logan (Lydia) McDermott, Yovani Lillard, Taylor Lillard; brother, Drew (Susan) Lillard; niece, Shelby Lillard; grandchildren, Zander Caughron, Cooper Caughron, and Tucker Caughron.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Ball Play Baptist Church Cemetery with Xander Caughron, Cooper Caughron, Tucker Caughron, Shelby Lillard, Drew Lillard and Josh Caughron serving as pallbearers.

Family and friends will gather from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
