William Earl Moorhouse, 84, of Benton, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2020, at his home.

He was born on May 11, 1936 to the late Walter and Julia (Lingerfelt) Moorhouse and was a lifelong member of Benton Station Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edna Mae Moohouse; his siblings, Stella Hall, Elizabeth Crumley, Iola Brock, Pearl Gross, Velma Massengill, Richard T. Moorhouse, John Henry Moorhouse, Boyd Moorhouse, Julius (Jack) Moorhouse and Charles Elmer Moorhouse.

Survivors include his beloved daughter, Julie Moorhouse Shirer, and much loved son-in-law, Woody Shirer; adored grandson, Alec Shirer; dear sister-in-law and her husband, Janice and Sam Rymer as well as many special nieces and nephews. He will be remembered, with love, by many co-workers and friends.

A private Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at Benton Station Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Joel Jenkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Benton Station Baptist Church Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
